…Announces lawmakers’ return from recess
The Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, has applauded the dedication and commitment of staff and lawmakers of the legislature.
Addressing the workforce during the February edition of the Assembly’s interfaith monthly prayer meeting on Monday, Aribasoye urged them to sustain the momentum, while emphasizing the importance of collaboration, growth, and self-improvement.
Highlighting the strides of the 7th Assembly in digital innovation, the lawmaker revealed that the soon-to-be-launched Ekiti Assembly mobile app is expected to revolutionize lawmakers’ workflow by enabling prompt responses to official and time-sensitive issues.
He also expressed admiration for the impressive dressing of staff, noting that it has enhanced the aesthetic standards of the work environment.
He added that a form of wardrobe support may be considered as a motivation for staff after dilligent considerations.
Earlier at the monthly gathering, a Christian Minister Pastor Kehinde Olajinbiti and his Muslim counterpart Alfa Bakare Qozeem both gave exhortations wrapped around being thankful, being grateful and eschewing overambitious mentality.
They encouraged contentment, kindness, love and a prayerful lifestyle.
Meanwhile, the 7th assembly lawmakers have officially resumed work after about five weeks of recess.
