EKITI SPEAKER HOSTS BSES 2025 FATHER CHRISTMAS

...Assures Station of Broader Partnership
The Ekiti State House of Assembly received a warm and festive surprise as a delegation from the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES) visited the Speaker to present the 2025 Father Christmas.

The BSES General Manager, Mr. Olu Popoola, who led the team on the special visit, noted that the occasion was remarkable, giving them the opportunity to present their special gift to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye, and celebrate his leadership strides. 

Popoola assured that the station would continue to sustain its reportage of the legislature, expressing further interest in covering the constituency projects of Honourable members across the state.

Father Christmas accompanied by his 'wife' presented gifts to the Speaker,  and extended warm wishes for a joyful Christmas season and a successful tenure.

 The team described Rt. Hon. Aribasoye as selfless and warm-hearted, commending his openness to collaboration with both the media and the public.

In his remarks, the Speaker expressed gratitude for the station’s commitment to promoting good governance and deepening public participation in legislative activities noting that the 7th Assembly has consistently prioritized transparency, as evidenced by the live streaming of its plenary sessions, among other reforms.

He further disclosed that the Assembly would soon launch its own dedicated mobile application, which will provide citizens with seamless access to legislative activities, reports, and resources to enhance their understanding of the workings of the House.

Aribasoye, who also offered cash support to the visiting team, solicited sustained collaboration between the media and the Assembly in advancing the interests of the people.
